The Cybersecurity Academy is made possible through a grant from the Florida Center for Cybersecurity (Cyber Florida).  Cyber Florida is a state-funded organization dedicated to positioning Florida as a national leader in cybersecurity through education and workforce development, innovative, interdisciplinary research, and community outreach.

The Cybersecurity Academy is indebted to the University of Texas in San Antonio (UTSA).  The UTSA developed and executed a Cybersecurity Academy over the last two years.  UTSA was incredibly helpful to the SBDC @ FGCU and the LCOB @ FGCU in sharing documents, experiences and lessons-learned.
